Ed Davey is LIVE now at Lib Dem conference. Biggest applause so far on continued support for replacing the electoral system: "So won't be a Nigel-Ed team-up to campaign for electoral reform?" "He just can't jet-ski."

Awkward moment for Davey. The moderator asks the audience to raise their hands if they would rejoining the EU - almost everyone raises their hands. Davey famously pivoted from it after disappointment in 2019. But warm applause when he says it's about rebuilding trust in Europe.
