Riding the greenway this morning, I stopped to help a 16-year-old who had a flat tire and no spare. There were many times as a teenager when I had a flat, felt unsure, and adults stopped to help. Life comes at us in circles. Such a gift.

Wow! That was incredible! We went to Hardberger Park (blue park, Military Highway) to view the eclipse. Lots of clouds. But right at totality the clouds parted and everyone in the field was screaming wildly. Unbelievable. So lucky.

I tend to agree with Gilbert (this happens a lot). The feet aren't set and there is a slight push. Close? Yes. But I just can't buy the argument that a foul call is OK at one time in the game but not OK at another.
