Ten years ago, the Shelby County ruling opened the floodgates to voting discrimination with an intensity that's continued to this day. Racial discrimination in voting is persistent and pervasive. We must counter it everywhere – at federal, state, and local levels. #ShelbyAt10

#OTD 10 years ago, the Supreme Court handed down its decision in #ShelbyvHolder. The decision left people of color particularly susceptible to unchecked attacks on voting, attacks that we fight against today and every day.

I wanted to share some of my thoughts on today's Supreme Court decision on affirmative action:
