Not buying much so lot’s of infrastructure projects this yr. This historic home had a cooktop, someone added at some point, but no oven. I’ve finally ripped out the old mess & will be adding a freestanding gas range. Which, will be better for both tenants & I!

I saw a statistic that roughly half (55%) of renters pay renters insurance - most of whom, I'm sure, are required to do so by their landlords. I'm know there are benefits. However, I've never required nor even suggested it really. Am I the odd man out here?

In just three weeks, the Fed will meet and it seems it’s no longer a question of if rates will be cut… but by how much – 0.25% or 0.50%? What’s your best guess and why?

Fed Chair Powell gave a speech in Jackson Hole saying, “the time has come for policy to adjust,” signaling the Fed would begin cutting rates at its next meeting, Sept 18th. Will they take the stairs down or the elevator? 0.25% is a forgone conclusion but might it be 0.50%?
