The pitching/hitting coach is such a thankless job. When replacement players haven’t been able to break through it’s fire Katz/Thames but when a player of talent breaks through it’s praise from bannister/fuller/the player. I don’t know the right answers but just an observation.

These young #WhiteSox pitchers lack the killer instinct to punctuate a start. Too often are the letting a good start get ruined in the 5th/6th inning en route to exiting the game. Part of the learning curve.

Ramos has been sneaky hot over the last month and has brought his OPS to over .700 for the season. Not sure where he fits going forward but perhaps he gets some run at 3B to close out the season when Rojas gets the boot. #WhiteSox

Jonathan cannon is not an every fifth day starter. I think he can be successful in the same role the #WhiteSox are using Mike Vasil, but I just don’t see him as part of the future rotation of a contending team.

Need the #WhiteSox to take a series vs the Guardians this weekend. Their hot run after the All-Star break just hit a road block but that was a very good Seattle team in a tough road environment. A series win would help show the post break mojo is still going.

Sad to see the winning ways start to fade, but the bats have still provided some thump in the meantime albeit in some blowouts. The young #WhiteSox refuse to quit and have made a few early blowouts interesting. Time for the pitching to stabilize again.

Great news. Oblique injuries are tricky and when it came out of no where, I assumed the worst. Playing as many games and navigating a full MLB season is huge for him and every young #WhiteSox players development this season.

Appears the #WhiteSox don’t trust Burke either. Not a big fan of his but still surprised to see the option to Charlotte. With him and Cannon in AAA now, raises more attention to this thread and future starting rotation.

I still think about this often. His bat is exploding and something you want to keep but defense remains a question and this might be his peak. Do the #WhiteSox look to capitalize on the value now or keep him in hopes this is who he really is? Interested to see this offseason.
