"The most contagious period is shortly before they become symptomatic - 2 to 3 days beforehand, and shortly after" Asymptomatic transmission - this is how #SARSCoV2 does spreads so successfully Prof Beggs UK Covid-19 Inquiry
"The weight of evidence was that wearing masks was better than not wearing masks, and respirators [FFP3] were better than surgical masks" Prof Beggs is questioned by UK Covid-19 Inquiry about the The Royal Society Expert Group review of studies into #SARSCoV2 transmission
Interview with BBC Wales News on our NHS. Today, Sir Keir is again saying our NHS is “broken”. Yet he won’t take responsibility for the Welsh NHS, run by Labour for 25 years, which has longer waiting lists than England. Labour owes the Welsh people an apology.
After years of shouting "Covid is airborne" "Clean the air" into the void, of helplessly watching the disastrous consequences of IPC failures play out, watching this & Prof. Clive Beggs UK Covid-19 Inquiry has been, to coin a phrase, a much-needed breathe of fresh air. Huge thanks 🙏
A huge thank you to Dr Barry Jones and the whole CATA team for their exemplary evidence & support for the REAL protection of healthcare staff. Thousands of healthcare workers have been left disabled with #LongCovid or died of #Covid UK Covid-19 Inquiry David Osborn NHS
Q: "Did this letter satisfy you that the appropriate enforcement action has been taken?" A :"Absolutely not.... we regarded the response of the Health and Safety Executive as entirely unsatisfactory throughout the whole pandemic" Dr Barry Jones believes Health and Safety Executive did not discharge its responsibility
Long Covid SOS Health and Safety Executive Oooh! "so you knew it was wrong but you did it anyway?" "waffle, waffle = yes we knew it was wrong but did it anyway cos things... money blah blah.."
After speaking with Humphrey Ker back in July, I learned that there are a lot of international fans that want to support local #wrexham charities. The Wrexham Miners Project are raising funds to restore the Miners Rescue Station to it's former glory. This is a very worthy cause that
The Rescue on Vimeo Ten years ago we walked into the derelict Miners Rescue Station Wrexham with a plan to create a community hub today thanks to Humphrey Ker Wrexham AFC Rob McElhenney Ryan Reynolds we are closer vimeo.com/155399611
Long Covid SOS Health and Safety Executive So another senior person fails to discharge their duties properly. When will we actually see these bodies doing their jobs properly. OFGEM, OFWAT, HSE, CQC, NMC, all the same. Claiming wages but lacking the courage and the morals to act when needed!
Fantastic to visit Leeds & to meet with so many Yorkshire Anaesthetists at YorksAnaesEvents conference, to discuss the learning from the ongoing Independent Maternity Review NUH Trust at NUH
Next up YorksAnaesEvents is Shaun Lintern talking about the role of the media/ his role in exposing patient safety concerns across the NHS: describing talking confidentially to staff on the ground & families, following the data & information & his current concerns
Now Shaun Lintern focus on the freq formulaic response to inquiries. ‘Lessons will be learned’ & frequently recommendations accepted & not actioned. Cites many examples of staff trying to speak out/not listened to/ families ‘kept in the dark’ Says Med journalists here 2 help
Massive thanks to Dr Barry Jones for his stellar evidence yesterday. So well prepped, decisive & passionate. He provided proof that the IPC Cell proactively denied Covid was aerosol even though SARS & MERS are. So their guidance didn't protect healthcare workers & staff AT ALL.
📝 I’ve signed MND Campaigns’s open letter to the Chancellor regarding the cuts to #WinterFuelPayment. ❗️ Those with Motor Neurone Disease already face financial pressures due to energy costs, and these cuts will push many into greater hardship.
JaneJordon3 Stephen Kinnock The Labour Party Welsh Labour But the people never seem to see through them. Well, not enough of the people anyway. Do we get the politicians we deserve? What an appalling, demoralising thought ☹️
