My deep gratitude to my colleagues in the The Alfred Emergency and Trauma Units. Bike trauma with Grade 4 kidney injury and fractured 4th and 5th ribs. All good so far and about to go to the ward. Have been surrounded by consistent, quiet competence and compassion all day.
