as someone who plans ahead for a lot of things, I hate when i have to suffer the consequences of someone else’s lack of proper planning. it makes me feel super frustrated and I’m not a fan of that feeling.

Hyper-independent ladies will tell you it’s the opposite. Asking a man for money means he’s made us feel safe enough to believe it won’t come with strings. Comfortably asking for anything / relying on ppl requires a vulnerability we struggle with. We do that when we LOVE someone.
