Tim's Act is bipartisan legislation that would make meaningful reforms to wildland firefighter pay, essential benefits, & classification. This bill honors Tim Hart, a smokejumper from Cody, WY who tragically lost his life earlier this year battling a wildfire in New Mexico.

I'm grateful to the Natural Resources Committee for holding a hearing on Tim's Act — a bipartisan bill I've introduced with @RepNeguse to honor Cody native Tim Hart — that would ensure federal wildland firefighters receive the support they deserve.
