I am still hugely proud to work at University Hospitals Birmingham . To treat the amazing patients alongside some amazing colleagues. The staff here are simply incredible and work so so hard. If I needed medical care, it would be here. The whole NHS is breaking, and every trust is struggling.

Today the NIHR Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Centre Team hosted their final research showcase event! It was a brilliant day, with sessions covering some of the key projects carried out by the team over the last 12 years, to improve care for trauma patients.
