Bromley Youth Trust welcomed the Mayor aboard Rosanne, their narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal. The trust use trips on the boat as a fun and innovative way of helping young people learn life skills such as team work.

On the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, we remember those who gave their lives and whose service and sacrifice helped bring about the final end of World War II. We will remember them.

Tonight, Guildhall is illuminated white and the Union Flag flies high as we mark #VJDay80. We honour all who served and sacrificed to secure peace 80 years ago.

The fantastic Magpie Dance school put on a spellbinding performance to celebrate their 40th anniversary. The Deputy Mayor was delighted to join Angela Rippon CBE and others to honour the legacy of this wonderful Bromley-based charity.

Royston Field was filled with stalls and fun activities for the recent Penge Festival Fete. The Mayor & Mayoress met with stallholders and other members of the local community, before having a go at some archery.

The Mayor joined Cudham residents for an early morning litter pick along Cudham Lane North - keeping this beautiful part of rural Bromley clean.

Biggin Hill Fire Station (LFB Bromley) opened their doors to the community for a recent open day. The Mayor joined local residents visiting the station where he was able to thank these firefighting heroes for their service to the borough - and have a go on the fireman's pole!
