I am lucky to have been sent a copy of @alomshaha’s great new Hodder & Stoughton (no longer active) book, ‘Why Don’t Things Fall Up?’

So far, I have read the first chapter which addresses the title question, ‘Why don’t things fall up?’ The chapter is a lovely example of how to skilfully construct an explanation, pitched at the optimum level of simplification for young learners.

Alom showcases how effective teachers develop explanations - building clear foundations and then carefully constructing more complex ideas on them. I am looking forward to the next chapters!
