#igc2024dub was an incredibly special week for geographers in Ireland as we welcomed 2654 delegates from 80+ countries. While the LOC have been putting in plans in place for 8 years, your engagement with us brought our plans alive. Thankyou!

My children always eye-roll and comment on how I ‘talk to everyone’, such as the person who works in the local shop. They are right - I like small talk. Exchanging micro expressions like smiling and saying hello are acts of kindness and an acknowledgement of our shared humanity.
