On it tonight! Great spin bike hilly workout. Big smiles after a week of not being confident with my training.

Good ride out and run off the bike today. Race is getting closer. I’m starting to believe I can do this!

Really enjoyed my run out this morning. Steady paced 11 miles and it was fun and it felt good. Yey!

Excited a bit, nervous definitely, believe I can do this. It’s my first half ironman this Sunday!!

Fuelling up ready for tomorrow

A well earned medal - love it sooo proud! Completed my first half ironman distance at cholmondeley castle @CastleTriathlon in 7 hours 11 mins. It was testing especially the run in the heat! Yey I did it!!

Another brilliant cholmondeley castle triathlon race weekend by @CastleTriathlon If you never done a castle series triathlon, swim or run check them out, the next one is July at Castle Howard. They are so well organised and the venues and atmosphere is great!

If I wear my medal I’m sure they won’t mind me wearing flip flops to work today!

First run back and enjoyed running along the seafront

First open water swim no wetsuit 😱 shocked myself but the water was warm and I did pretty good in my trisuit

Been great morning running on Pendine Sands and up the hills of Wales!

The spirits are high even though the weather is due to hit Silverstone and Moto GP race times changed.
