Good morning! I’m Joel Rurik (@DevBioAcademic) delighted to do the first CAMB twitter takeover of 2022! As a 4th yr DSRB PhD candidate in Jon Epstein Lab, I study the injured heart and develop exciting mRNA-based immuno-medicine therapies.

Our lab (and BGS/CAMB) is full of great people! Jon Epstein Lab is interested broadly in heart development. Much of our lab (including fellow DSRB student, friend, & excellent human karen) studies how gene programs are epigenetically regulated at the nuclear periphery.
