Today, we sent a letter urging Congress to oppose H.R. 9495, which would grant the Treasury Secretary unilateral authority to strip organizations of their nonprofit status. Congress must protect nonprofits by voting no on this dangerous bill. rac.org/press-room/ref…

We are deeply concerned about the qualifications of some members of the slate of Cabinet nominees announced by President-elect Trump.  They include individuals who have aligned themselves with White Christian Nationalists. Individuals who have been credibly accused of sexual

Enough is enough! Rabbi Jonah Pesner tells Prime Minister Netanyahu that it’s time to prioritize humanity, morality, and justice over political survival. As Netanyahu's own now-fired Minister of Defense said "There is and will not be any atonement for abandoning the captives."

Read @jonahpesner's letter to Speaker Mike Johnson opposing his new policy that targets transgender people by restricting Capitol Hill restroom use. We urge the Speaker to reverse this policy and instead use his office to spotlight the holiness in all people. rac.org/press-room/ref…

We mourn the murder of Rabbi Zvi Kogan Z”l a Chabad emissary in the UAE. R. Soleveichik in his Kol Dodi Dofek writes that “if boiling water is poured over a Morrocan Jew the Jew in Paris or London must scream.” We scream out at this tragic loss. We are one people! זכר צדיק לברכה

Grateful to President Donald J. Trump for his tireless efforts toward peace, even as our hope is tempered by Hezbollah’s past violations of agreements. We’ll keep praying & working for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel to free the hostages & get vital humanitarian aid to Gaza civilians.

We welcome the Lebanon ceasefire announced by Israel after over a year of deadly Hezbollah rocket attacks. While this is not a peace agreement, we share President Biden’s hope for progress toward lasting peace. Our prayers remain with all impacted. urj.org/press-room/sta…

Today’s flurry of statements and announced executive orders attacking immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, climate protections, and more are hurtful and harmful. They also make clear the communities and policies that are at heightened risk under the new administration. (1/2)

Thousands of people’s lives have been upended today by the decisions already made and implemented by the new administration. So we’re not going to debate about what Musk, elected by no one, meant by his salute at the inaugural gala. But someone of his reported intelligence should

The ICC is a vital part of the structure of international human rights law. And we recognize it has been misused by those seeking to undermine Israel. Sanctions against the ICC for the latter should be directed at those abuses and not so broad as to damage the ICC more
