Most programs would love to have what Wisconsin does with Greg Gard: stability, a winning culture, consistent NCAA Tournament appearances, and a coach who isn’t chasing the next big job. Don’t take that for granted.

This is now the standard to which the State’s largest university is striving for. Wisconsin Women’s Basketball rinse & repeat. Every Wis HS coach, AAU program director, & parent would have advised to hire a certain D3 WI coach. McIntosh continues to not understand the landscape of Women’s hoops.

The first thing I would do if I was the new Wisconsin Women’s Basketball coach is…..I’d be checking out the scenery in Washington County and Lake Country.

The Wisconsin Lakers Select 40 17U team is headed to Bloomington, Minnesota for the Midwest Kickoff Classic, April 12-13. The schedule is set, and it’s go time! Final AAU season for these girls — can’t wait to get after it. 🏀

She is fearless and has the ability to move on to the next play when things don’t go her way. Allows her to keep growing as a player.

Coaches always try replacing players with better stats or physical measurables….what they don’t factor in is the Heart, Competitive fight, and winning mindset that walked out the door! I’ll die on this hill!!

Reviewed games from last live period. Maddie Stocks locked down several D1 guards is nothing new but holding a Gatorade State player of the year scoreless was special. That Def effort along playing PG & having 1 TO in a highly competitive and physical game was fun to watch.
