Please think twice before telling someone living with a cancer diagnosis to look on the bright side. That’s all I’m gonna say. #fuckcancer

RIP to the Man with the Golden Arm. James Harrison gave blood 1,173 times, saving the lives of 2.4 million Australian babies after it was found that his plasma had a rare antibody that could stop Rh- pregnant women's blood from attacking their Rh+ babies. yahoo.com/news/prolific-…

Hey, #cancer posse! What music speaks to you? Both the heartbreaking and the happy. Mine right now: “River of Deceit”-Mad Season (Layne Staley vocals) The grief and longing of it make me homesick for my life before. m.youtube.com/watch?v=StqioK… Thanks Cancer!

🗣️ Share this with the women in your life! The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) has shared updated screening guidelines for women with extremely dense breasts. Moffitt’s Dr. Bethany Niell explains the new guidelines and why they are important.

Remission doesn’t mean “cured” or “healthy.” It means that the cancer bastard is taking a break, and you’re left to manage the fallout from grueling treatments. You will always be looking over your shoulder, worrying about its return. Thanks Cancer!

How is #cancer or its effects impacting your day today? I'm extra tired, taking frequent breaks, extra coffee, likely napping. Trying not to feel guilty about my lack of productivity. 😔 #mbc #tnbc #stageivneedsmore #breastcancer

Only patients taking these drugs can truly define tolerability — AND remember that opining on behalf of a patient can set expectations that can affect the patient tremendously. #bcsm

Just a post to remember some of our #bcsm #cancer friends who have passed. They, and our community, are why I’ve stayed on this app. Add yours to the list. Silke WelliesandSeaweed (Julia) 🕊️ Ilene K, Liz Johnson, there are so many others &I can’t think of them right now. In memoriam. ❤️💔

UnitedHealthcare has dropped Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from its network, leaving 20,000 cancer patients (including me) without access to our doctors and life-saving treatment starting July 1. Cancer patients cannot simply “go elsewhere.” Finding new specialists
