Quantum thermodynamics meets quantum complexity inspired by holography. Delighted to see this paper out in the @prxquantum International Year of Quantum special collection. Thanks to Jens Eisert, Philippe Faist, @haferjonas, Naga Teja, and Anthony Munson! journals.aps.org/prxquantum/abs…

With Gayathrini and Deven Bowman, we examined whether an imperfect, gram-scale mechanical resonator could be observably entangled with a cloud of ultra cold atoms.

Nicole Yunger Halpern (NicoleYunger Halpern) is bridging art and science by using 3D sculptures to visualize quantum mechanics concepts, turning abstract ideas into tangible forms. Check out how her creativity is shaping our understanding of the quantum world: go.umd.edu/1xfa
