Chenfeng Xiong Joicymara Xavier and Olanrewaju Lawal were among the pilot projects awardees that attended the meeting in-person. Hence, they had the chance to present their proposed work to the hub members. Other awardees joined the meeting virtually and also spoke about their projects.

It was very good to get the chance to present my Pilot Project in the DS-I Africa meeting. With this work, my intention is to establish a novel real-time methodology for pathogens variant assignment.

Very excited after the positive feedbacks and looking forward to next steps.
