You know what makes our program special? Honestly, you can study journalism anywhere and get a good education (though I think ours is pretty dang awesome). No, it’s the people - students, faculty, staff - who make our department a home for our undergraduates. Maddie nails it.

This is disqualifying...another telling failure. We’re at the point where we can and should reframe these errors as willful—by both the writers themselves and by the paper refusing to hire a staff that wouldn’t let this happen?
