So they denied Oversight to AOC...in favor of an old man everyone knew was dying....who is now stepping down 3 months in because he is dying...and handing the job to some random guy without a vote. Okay sounds good 👍

Gretchen Whitmer has really become one of the leading lights in the Normalize Trump movement, right up there with Newsom and Schumer

Maybe this is the lawyer in me but I always get annoyed at how bad journalists are at argument. Why didn't this guy literally take out his phone and Google Abrego Garcia hand tattoos and show the pictures to Trump? Like just do what you wanna do bruv, it's easy

NEWS: Law firms that made deals with Trump worried about losing clients if they didn't. But it looks like there is risk in the opposite direction: A major client, Microsoft, has pulled business from a firm that made a deal and gave it to a fighting firm nytimes.com/2025/05/01/bus…

"Accusations." "Suspicions." "Alleged." Funny how Axios stops confirming allegations - traditionally exactly what journalists do! - and starts just repeating them when there's a fascist in the White House. Marc Caputo, you're truly awful.

I think a large part of this is that Democrats admitting how severe this crisis is opens up a whole lot of questions they don't want to answer, like, are our institutions functioning, does the Constitution work, what do we do next

john teufel (@johnteufelnyc) 's Twitter Profile Photo

In all seriousness, when the most powerful members of the "opposition" to fascism have a depth of analysis this shallow, are this deluded, what chance do we have. This is not just Biden, this is how Schumer, Jeffries, all the big ones think.

What I love about crypto is that it's a scam, everyone knows it's a scam, and Democrats are supporting it solely to get some of that sweet scam money from scam artist donors.

The best thing about quitting smoking is that when something awful happens in your life and you're really stressed you can start smoking again and it feels AMAZING

1 thing thats great about student loans is that when they change your servicer, which happens all the time, the new servicer has a hidden "log in page" for the transferred ppl, so if you just go to their website and try to log in it doesn't work. Very user friendly and intuitive!

For @TheIndypendent, I wrote about how the skin-deep liberalism of the Big Law firms that made deals with Trump finds a parallel in the mushy lack of ideology that characterizes the Democratic party. Read and share if you like 👇🙏 indypendent.org/2025/05/the-co…

Big Law cloaked itself in identity politics liberalism for its own shallow gain, then threw their principles overboard to appease Trump. It's an arc similar to the one experienced by those infamous friends of Big Law, the Democrats. indypendent.org/2025/05/the-co…

One problem Democrats have is that nobody who doesn't mainline MSNBC 24/7 thinks there will ever be any "payback". I mean obviously as soon as the Dems are in power again they will cower before the all-powerful Parliamentarian. Like we aren't stupid!

Responding to a domestic violence report late at night, New Mexico cops went to the wrong house and killed a man when he came to the door with a gun. A federal judge said their carelessness did not violate the Fourth Amendment. reason.com/2025/05/21/a-f…
