Good news, TownshipOfEsquimalt has upgraded their life-saving infrastructure & repainted the ‘bike lane’ lines in front of the Country Grocer Plaza… Now I must make the obligatory reminder to y’all that paint isn’t infrastructure & this stretch is a disaster, especially on the CG side

Sometimes I look longingly across my span to the abandoned trains at Roundhouse and think, “why can’t I have trains? I love trains! Trains are the best!!!” Trains aren’t coming back though, to me at least, ever. Some other infrastructure might get to enjoy trains though. 🤷🤷🤷

Someone please make a zombie-styled game where the zombies are NIMBY’s and you have to work hard to build housing and bike lanes to stop their persistent advance. Each time you blow a NIMBY away a different absurd (real quote) from media appears on screen and you laugh.
