Coaches want to see improvement. Players who get early recruiting attention need to keep working hard. They should strive to look even better next year to maintain that interest From The Indy Drills Podcast Episode 45:youtu.be/GtKXX1_yZng

If you watched the games body language, he’s spot on. GA guys, while over celebrated every hit/tackle etc., they did fly around and hit TX. TX guys were soft blocking, especially on the edge and the result showed. GA was the more physical team.

Any HS kid who is following me….let this sink in from us old guys. It’s not a matter of coulda woulda shoulda, it was just fun and your with friends, classmates & community. Compete for them and enjoy the time.

Question for the coaches out there….your up 49-7 after Q3….state title game. When do you pull the 1’s and play the others? What does your playbook look like as well?

Most people don’t know this. I was a half scholarship guy in college. Wasn’t till my Sr season did the school pick up my full tab.

Turned the final page on the season. Sent off a great class of Sr’s and welcomed in the new leaders. #nextseasonstarts now.

Being a good coach isn’t all about W’a & L’s….until you’re in a professional league. Then that is exactly your measuring stick. Never a losing season? Hardly a top tier coach either.

That was text book #OPI and it bothers me when officials who are supposed to be watching for those is in the right position and makes no call. #Ironbowl

It’s clear after watching a lot of college football this weekend. The touch pass is a lost art for today’s QB’s. Not every pass is a 1 ball….#finesse

Just one more reason the coaching staff needs to change. They don’t know how to use the talent they have, so they go with safe and ineffective. Arthur smith needs to go and take Tomlin with.

Always have to remember, the other team is trying to win too. My saying is good days and great days…no bad days bc you showed up and tried to do your best.

High school coaches know this better than anyone. We don’t get to control who walks in the school building doors every morning. With that being said, you have to have an identity and a replicable system that can teach fundamentals and develop talent from the youth level up to
