We’re delighted to announce the award of £60,000 by MuseumsGalleriesScot for a project to explore North Lanarkshire’s links with slavery and empire. We’re excited to be working with our communities and the University of Glasgow to establish new narratives and ways of working.


Excellent talk last night by Dr Callum Watson. Very interesting research and interpretation of events immediately before and after the battle . Can’t wait to read the book. Massive thanks to Dundonald Castle for organising and for the amazing coffee!
