Play fast and score a lot of points. This is a good win #1 for opening night. This could have gone the other way, see TCU & Auburn.

Then, if we are smart, we don’t jump to conclusions and instead compare Cooper Flagg’s first college game last year where he finished with 18 pts and 7 rebs to Boozer’s 15 & 13. It’s the first game…and they beat Texas, not Maine. I’d say Cam did alright.

Tonight for Texas A&M Basketball: ✔️ rotational adjustments: trying different combinations of players in different spots ✔️ better understanding of the freedom players are given offensively ✔️ quicker and easier switches and pressures in the full court ✔️ more confidence

Offense has been ahead of defense the last couple years, across the country, because of roster turnover. Veteran teams, in the past, used to be much farther ahead defensively. Not so much anymore.

I’m sure RMU got $ from Drake, so it qualifies - but Missouri Valley vs Horizon is hardly the “epitome of brutality”. Andy Toole is a terrific coach who has been there since I was an assistant in that league from 2006-2009. Does a great job. Bobby ‘Mo got it done in Des Moines.

Plenty of bumps on defensive end - but, and I’ll say it again, the talent on this roster and roster makeup can’t be denied. Lots of dudes who can score the ball and are willing to share it. Concerned with Agee going down. Can’t afford to have him miss extended time.

Be on the 👀-out for 👊 & 🤗 from 🐝’s group if you 💰 a 🎟️ The B1G is a much better conference for Buzz’s style and I totally get how Maryland fans could find this so refreshing - especially if you’re comparing it to Willard. Good luck to Solo, Mills & Payne.

Going to be a fun game to watch. Watch for: ✔️ Rebounding battle ✔️ How does OK State handle pressure? ✔️ Live vs Dead Ball turnovers ✔️ More minutes from Aggie core

Oklahoma State puts up 87 without Anthony Roy against Texas A&M. Cowboys are going to be a very tough out in Stillwater. Steve Lutz doing Steve Lutz things.

This a special player with 5-years of professional basketball experience under his belt (as well as a 2025 NBA Draft Combine participant). Terrific vs Providence. Wouldn’t be surprised if he plays himself into a lottery pick in the 2026 Draft.
