Happy to spend this afternoon supporting our friends at NPHY for their Superheroes by Day Bowling Tournament. NPHY does amazing work❣️ Unfortunately, no footage of John Piro and I bowling today exists because as elite bowlers, we didn’t want to embarrass anyone.

Today, a few Public Defenders, including Assistant Public Defender John Piro, honorary Public Defender, & Executive Director of the ACLU of Nevada, Athar Haseebullah, Esq., spent their afternoon bowling & supporting our friends at NPHY who do tremendous work for our community.

Worst line of the night, "crime will keep going down when we put a prosecutor in the office instead of a convicted felon.” I am all in on the Democratic nominee, but we need to stop exalting prosecutors just b/c they are prosecutors & stop demonizing people convicted of felonies.

UNLV takes its first lead of the night on a one-yard rush by Kylin James. It's 23-20 Rebels with 1:51 left in this ballgame.

Early Voting starts tomorrow. If we want to make our community better, we have to help better people get elected. These are the best folks running for Judge this cycle. I’m not a paid campaign consultant, I don’t hype people up because they pay me. I’m only for the community.

This past Friday, we joined Clark County Nevada at its annual #trunkorteat and had a great time handing out candy to County employees and their families. Our live-action T-Rex and Giant Squid and their epic battles were a hit with everyone!

This past Tuesday, we again had the opportunity to join @clarkcountynv @commishtick, @legalaidsnv, and other community partnerLegal Aid Center -A-Lawyer event they hosted at the Parkdale Recreation & Senior Center.  We are grateful for opportunities to be out in our community.

Today is a call to action to oppose bad policy. Please call in and tell the Senate we don’t need to pass bad policy.

To be clear, we aren’t protest coordinators and today’s (to our knowledge) wasn’t a coordinated effort. We will have follow-ups tomorrow after a review of tonight, but kettling protestors and then firing pepperballs at people and using tear gas is a #1A issue.

Protest is Patriotism In peace and with strength we shall overcome.

Focus on the moment, not the monsters that may or may not be up ahead.
