Highlights of SDT7, Day 1 Enjoyed Rich Ryan's overview of SDT--this PPT and the 2017 book gives excellent overview. Got to see K. Bartholomew and M. Milyavskaya present (a first for me). Two excellent posters on agentic engagement--1) from Bar-Tov & Kaplan, 2) from Shanan & Katz.

Erika Patall-->effect sizes on the benefits of both naturally-occurring and intervention-enabled autonomy-supportive teaching; Leen Haerens-->empirically-validated suggestions on effective autonomy-supportive interventions. Autonomy-supportive teaching is one clear theme of SDT7!
