Amazing turnout at our GOTV knock for our future colleague Doron Clark 💙 It’s amazing to see the people powered, community centered campaign he’s built in such a short amount of time.

Anecdotally, our precinct had zero Frey delegates. The largest number of delegates: undecided but not Frey. Fateh was in second place.

Minneapolis has 3 good candidates for mayor. All three should continue campaigning hard with each other til the very end. A third Frey term is unacceptable.

How much money did Minneapolis dfl spend on that ridiculous convention? How much did candidates spend organizing for it? How much did I spend on Target Center food, drinks, and ice cream? These are big numbers my wife will never find out about.

Minneapolis DFL should: 1. Acknowledge convention failures. 2. Declare that the endorsement of Fateh stands because Frey abandoned the convention. (Discouraging future like-tactics.) 3. Allow full VAN access to all candidates who sought endorsement.

Minneapolis political twitter is petty and shitty on all sides. I’m here for it. It’s sometimes very funny. But also, it’s trash.

The Minneapolis DFL mayoral endorsement was a sham. But also, Frey quit and shouldn’t get his intended outcome. But also, if it was done correctly there would have been no endorsement. We are all losers here.

Ultimately, the push to force a Minneapolis DFL endorsement of Omar Fateh, despite a flawed process, benefited Frey the most. "No endorsement in the mayor's race" narrative is far better than "Fateh wins rigged convention, DFL retracts, but he sends endorsement flyers anyway."
