New in #AdvancesRO by rising PGY4 Dr Alexandra Dreyfuss: Tumor bed boost in BCT was not associated with LRR or RFS. As boosts were used more frequently in those with high-risk features, it is possible that it may have mitigated risk of recurrence. #bcsm sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Great symposium this morning at #AHNS23 featuring Faden Lab research on HPV Deep Seek and fragmentomics for the early detection of an MRD state in HNSCC, potentially enabling earlier intervention and even screening. Because “all recurrences are, in reality, persistences.” #hncsm

🚨Very excited to share our work on remote management of #radonc patients now in JAMA Network Open. Over 2800 patients managed remotely had high satisfaction with no major safety events, lower out of pocket costs and a reduced carbon footprint. jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…

Very pleased that CMSGov followed the evidence and decided to continue to allow telehealth for status checks (77427). This is clearly the right decision: it preserves access for patients and gives doctors the discretion to provide care in the way they and their patients think
