A1. The focus recently is on Partners that most directly drive adoption of M365 services, so SIs and MSPs are the traditional players here. ISVs & other partner types must first prove adoption as a by-product of their engagement to get any love from Microsoft #CollabTalk

A2: AvePoint has been focusing on complimenting our Product offerings with advisory and adoption services—this is been both critical and successful with so many orgs going through massive changes in their collaboration tech stack and management strategy #CollabTalk

A2b: We've had great success and alignment partnering with the Microsoft Customer Success teams-- we share the same goals around adoption because we know they don't need us unless they're effectively using the M365 platform! #CollabTalk

A3. With the pandemic/WFH initiatives, many went from balanced assessment of cloud collab to rapid deployment. “Measure twice and cut once” went out the window. Today our offerings are as focused on triage & regaining control as they are on planning & strategy #CollabTalk

A5. Multi-cloud support and mindset is essential, both to serve the needs of our customers, but also to remain engaged and connected to the innovations and approaches of the different cloud platforms #CollabTalk

A5b.However, there are many synergies that can be gained by leveraging different cloud services from the same vendor (example, using M365 and also using AAD for auth in your custom apps)-- So while multi-cloud is a reality, it does not need to be a religion! #CollabTalk

A6: M365 has a fantastic effect of “democratizing” advanced technologies, making them available to small orgs with few IT and dev resources. As these orgs get more and more sophisticated in their use of this tech, they represent a significant market for partners #CollabTalk

A7-1: It’s a big tent- Microsoft has been innovating like crazy, but implying 1st party solutions are everything to everyone is a bad message to send. Ex: Citizen Dev is a fantastic way to modernize core collab but enterprise apps will always have a place #CollabTalk

A7-2: While the #MicrosoftGraph team has been amazing at providing ISVs with a strong and cross-service API platform to build on, not all M365 teams are in the boat. M365 Groups and MSFT Teams are great examples of doing it right! #CollabTalk

A7-3: It’s nobody’s fault but… I MISS ALL THE DAMN IN PERSON EVENTS!!! #CollabTalk
