Excellent: Proto-feminist neorealist folk horror, with Daliah Lavi as a reckless, betrayed, much abused, possibly crazy, possibly magical 'peasant,' more resented for her bewitching sex appeal than for her 'witchcraft.' Complete with an EXORCIST-style pre-Linda Blair 'crabwalk.'
