Thank you for posting this, which is largely ignored. Glad there is now a meta-analysis of these data. In addition, the number one habit with long-term successful weight loss in the national weight loss registry is lots of exercise to maintain weight loss.

Tim Kaine tells federal employees to ignore Trump’s offer to quit w/ pay for months. “Don’t be fooled. He’s tricked hundreds of people w/ that offer. If you accept that offer & resign he’ll stiff you just like he stiffed the contractors. He doesn’t have any authority to do this.”

Why anyone continues to prescribe high-intensity statins is so perplexing. Reality is, and data shows, only a minority of clinicians actually use and most patients want no part of high-intensity statins. Combo Rx is as good or better getting apoB to goal. Use lower doses of

There's lots of rhetoric lately about the poor state of nutrition & chronic disease in the USA that flies in the face of several realities: 1 - Nutrition is much harder to study than drugs yet we have minimally invested in nutrition research seriously. It is disjointedly tackled

One more new one from the newly made Dr. Edziu Franczak. Here we show that loss of ovarian function (OVX) in female mice blunts the ability of acute exercise to increase mitochondrial quality control mechanisms in the liver. journals.physiology.org/doi/abs/10.115…

New paper in collaboration with Heather Wilkins examines a liver-to-brain axis in Alzheimer's pathology in aging rats with divergence in intrinsic endurance running capacity. Fitness has been shown to play a decisive role in AD risk. But why? ...physoc.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1113/JP…

You can tell these folks are unserious about public health because it's only ever about banning the addition of fluoride up to recommended 0.7mg/L, it is never about filtering out fluoride levels that are naturally higher (and it gets much higher!). It's all in the name of
