It is shocking to me that so many left wing politicians attack the idea of prayer in response to a tragedy. Literally no one thinks prayer is a substitute for action. We pray because our hearts are broken and we believe that God is listening.

Those White people who survived the Superdome during Katrina 20 years ago, "hell on earth," lived a macabre experience no Stephen King novel can replicate. They faced the true face of Africans in America.

I was gonna watch the Netflix documentary on Hurricane Katrina but then I remembered I already know how it ends, everybody moves to Texas and raises the crime rates into the stratosphere

It’s pretty ridiculous that the population living near the border of Mexico is afraid to go there, worried they will be kidnapped. Even if it is kind of overblown, 20 years ago Americans went out of their way to visit Mexico. Intervention with the cartels is probably worth it.

Are there any moving out of Texas conservative success stories? It seems like most of the people who do this are leftist. Lots of conservatives moving here but not many moving out?

I’m going to a rodeo tonight and the beach tomorrow. These are the things those who are not Texans can’t always enjoy. Oh, and Ohio might have beat us in football today, but we are the superior state.
