What a welcome surprise today! Halifax Regional Fine Arts, Circus Specialist Kristen Langille, offered two outdoor sessions this afternoon for students. What an engaging opportunity and new experience for many of our students!

Mac and cheese was made in Food and Nutrition today! Students showed excellent ability to communicate, delegate when working as a team, and follow a recipe (with lots of room for personalizing their dish based on cheesiness and spice levels)!

Our Flag Football team did amazingly well at the tournament yesterday. The players showed that determination, dedication, and teamwork make all the difference. Thanks to our coaches Mr. Murray and Mr. Nottegar for the countless hours they’ve dedicated to training the team.

Congratulations to some of our fabulous Student of the Week winners! Students earned Magic Moments for following expectations, being kind, and going above and beyond. These Magic Moments are collected weekly and placed into grade level bins, from which a winner is drawn. Congrats

Shout out to Ms. Cyr, our math support teacher. She is instrumental in supporting our students in developing and enhancing their math skills and confidence. She encourages independence and is an integral part of the team at John Martin. We are forever thankful to have her at JMJH
