Its time to self promote our US work on COVID19 & PPP that was recently published in the @jpube. Our team at covid19sbs.org lead by John Eric Humphries, Gabriel Ulyssea and myself + 11 RAs have been on this since March! Bottom line: PPP screwed over the smallest businesses

New paper on the utilization of PPP loans by small businesses in the Journal of Public Economics with Gabriel Ulyssea and Christopher A. Neilson. Thank you to the awesome RAs who worked on this, and Tobin Center for Economic Policy and Princeton IRS for support that allowed us to start surveying firms early in the pandemic.
