I’m hearing MPs are being reassured that their issues / concerns with the assisted dying Bill - such as Royal College of Physicians Royal College of Psychiatrists saying it’s not safe - can be ‘sorted out in the Lords’. MPs - if you do not believe that the Bill as it stands on Friday is safe, don’t vote for it.

I completely agree with Baroness Berger here. It has always been my view that I would vote on the detail of the proposed legislation, not on the principle. From the start, I had major concerns regarding safeguards & role of the doctors. These concerns have not been addressed.
