Stop 3 in my Pow! Tour is over with yesterday’s very fun Native American Directed Shorts screening at Phoenix Film Festival! Thanks to everyone who came out, and I’m so happy I was able to finally meet our Pow! Women's Fancy Shawl Consultant Autumn Rose in person!

So excited we're screening Pow! tomorrow, Saturday 4/5 at CIFF! Nancy Kelsey clevelanddotcom named us one of the Indigenous Films to watch at the festival and Jenny Hamel with NPR affiliate WKSU was kind enough to interview me about it! Heck yeah!

The Pow! Late March - Early April 2025 tour ended yesterday with a screening at CIFF and a talkback hosted by Cynthia Connolly! Today I’m speaking on a screenwriting panel at Phoenix Film Festival at 3:30pm and then after that I will eat Waffle House and sleep for 100 years.

The Earth is 24,000 miles in circumference and I flew 22,000 miles in 14 days to attend Pow!’s premieres around the country / globe. I’m very proud that audiences love this film as much as I do and I took a daily selfie so you can see just how jet-lagged a person can get. Enjoy!

In the 15 years I’ve worked in the entertainment industry, I’ve never been able to have a big in person screening for the Pacific Northwest region that raised me. Screening a film at SIFF has been a HUGE goal of mine and I’m truly happy that Pow! is the project that got me there!
