And the #ACPSymposium19 kicks off! Today we’ll be sharing the results of the #TRGS #ACP in Outpatient Clinics Project. The trial aimed to evaluate a facilitated model of #ACP for people with advanced illness attending outpatient clinics in #NSW. A lot to share, so stay tuned!

#ACPSymposium19 CNC Catherine Molihan providing her thoughts on engaging with people & facilitating #ACP discussions. Implementing #ACP in clinic work flow is key, although challenging. Patients appreciated facilitation of #ACP conversation in the home 🏠

#ACPSymposium19 Prof. Andrew Hayen speaking on data linkage in the #ACP project. We can learn a lot from using linked data in health research. As you can see, there’s a lot of data out there! Watch out for our groups findings at 18months 🧐

#ACPSymposium19 The #ACP guru herself, Anne Meller 🙌 outlining HPs experience of #ACP education & training. Word cloud shows HPs emotions & thoughts when asked to consider their own #EOL wishes. A great way to show HPs how difficult this conversation can be for patients.

The PM mentioned that politicians will be subject to exactly the same testing and isolation regimen as the rest of Australia. Why was the SA senator tested when he was asymptomatic? #qanda

Pete Evan's comments are completely unacceptable. He should immediately retract them and apologise to the late Dr Harry Nespolon's family. Harry was a great man who is sorely missed by many people, including me. He deserves far better than this. Hang your head in shame Mr Evans.

Guardian news It appears there is a factual error in this article. It states this doctor “will remain registered as a GP”, but a search of the AHPRA register (ahpra.gov.au/Registration/R…) shows only general and specialist surgical registration. General registration does not mean she is a GP. 1/2
