OCaml has one of the best UX out there. It’s a joy to use and it’s fast. I’d love to write firmware in OCaml and I think modern microcontrollers are fast enough. Perhaps, what the world really needs is just a better OCaml garbage collector! Maybe a few variants, for hardware

I just discarded using an arena and ids for my Rust AST. It looks like I would have to implement a boxed version of the AST to serialize it for snapshot testing (insta, etc.), plus a converter from the area version to the boxed one. How do you folks deal with it? #Rust

Rust is a completely passable OCaml! Also, Zed with Helix keybindings is better than Helix. The UX of going through Rust Analyzer issues is buttery smooth! Also, being able to view the whole project at the same time is a big deal for me. Some key binding issues,
