The Essex Fire Service crews who got the blaze under control at the old town park Paradise Club site did a great job. Officers from Harlow Council’s community safety team provided support at the scene. An arson investigation has been launched by the police to find out who was responsible.

The UK Health Security Agency is relocating to Harlow. Championed by the previous Government, today’s announcement is a boost to the local economy. Although careful consideration of the relocation plan must take place, it is clear that our town is going to become a world centre for life sciences.

It was great to join a police walkabout in Gilden Park today. The walkabout identified several actions that need to be taken to prevent anti-social behaviour and crime in the local area. This is an excellent example of the police working to strengthen ties in the community.
