Something I've learned this week: the world changes for the better every time unlikely relationships are formed to accomplish unexpected things. What a global moment in time for such things to happen!

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, not fear of the slippery slope.

He's not wrong that women's presence changes the dynamic of a seminary classroom. Know where else that happens? The local church, which is where we train seminary students to serve. Seminary exists solely to serve the interests of the local church, which includes women.

Who's gonna tell him?

This is the paradox of two Kingdoms. On one hand, people either have free speech or they don't and that includes churches and pastors. This "ban" was and is unConstitutional On the other hand, taking the Lord's name in vain is not a "freedom" any church should want to exercise.
