Been out meeting potential applicants for the 2020 The Go-Ahead Group graduate management programme today at an impressive careers fair hosted by Northwestern Careers

It's a privilege to be able to be involved in this very worthwhile initiative (and get to use my research skills)! Had a great day on Tuesday, and I think lots of people went away with some good ideas for their respective businesses/departments.

A great result - testament to our highly skilled training team (and recruitment team too, for employing some fantastic people to start their career in the bus industry with us 😉)

Appreciating that I don't usually do much work stuff on social, but, we've got buses & drivers available if any North East business needs help getting key workers on shift - be it short term Park & Ride or something bespoke to aid social distancing......

Had a great day up in Consett today in my feather boa, showing off our swanky new buses for X-lines services between Consett and Newcastle. You can even take your bike on board! A good way to encourage more active travel 🚴

Feeling refreshed after a relaxing week's holiday with Adam Bewick on the beautiful Yorkshire coast - had some brilliant days out with the help of East Yorkshire handy #coaster service - an excellent way to get out and about without driving!

Spent the best part of four years (partly) researching food insecurity, and though I've been away from it for a while I'm certain that this is now more important than ever; it's only going to get worse if structural issues aren't addressed.

Looking forward to the next steps of the One Team GNE initiative where we'll pick Lead Champions and form working groups for each of the topics we'll be focusing on!

Today is World Aids Day, as we remember all those who've lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses over the years. Though in the UK HIV is no longer a death sentence, sadly it still is in many parts of the world, and HIV stigma persists. That's why we #RockTheRibbon today
