I was just a touch over 80,000 lbs GCVW, fortunately I do have a weight exemption for my EAPU. Despite the challenging terrain from Bakersfield, CA to Coachella, CA I still managed just over 10 mpg for today’s leg….better than what I thought I might get. Martin Jez you asked

I guess I’ll call this my circle around America dispatch. Unfortunately I just missed my goal of 10 mpg, close but no cigar. A few things to keep in mind that would have definitely put me over the 10 mpg mark despite the heavier general van freight loads and extended 75 mph legs.

Here’s an interesting comparison on the same stretch of road on the same day. While this example is by no means definitive it’s still pretty interesting to see how the MVT Driect Drive spec compared to the Alpha Drivers downsped overdrive spec in fairly similar circumstances.
