1/ Today, The Rockefeller Foundation announced $3 million in new funding for Global.health – a leading open-source platform for scientific pandemic data – to expand international partnerships and modernize the global effort for coordinated pandemic prevention, surveillance, and response.
2/ Funding will support research collaboration, including World Health Organization (WHO) Hub for Epidemic and Pandemic Intelligence, Centre for Epidemic Response & Innovation (CERI), ISARIC, and the #Gorgas Memorial Institute, and make globally available open-source tools, training, datasets, and opportunities for research.
