Such a back breaking second half for Racing as KC acted like league leaders and Racing had no answer. Shouldn't distract from their best season ever, but very painful to watch

Racing's difference makers, Demelo and Sears, were very absent tonight, and for Racing to make a playoff push, they have to step up in tough games like tonight

What a tale of two halves from LouCity! First half saw NC overload the midfield and frustrate Davila with City being more cautious. Coach Cruz takes off Totsch for Gleadle and went more vertical, especially using Gleadle's pace.

And as The Center Forward Podcast never hesitates to remind me, LouCity's biggest asset is its bench and depth, which was on full display tonight

The positive is that Racing led the 2nd and 3rd place NWSL squads into stoppage time. The negative is that each game ended a draw and with Racing unable to pull away from this congestion over the playoff spots

Tonight exhibited LouCity's main weakness: when teams sit back and defend, City struggle to break them down.

To the LouCity fan who criticized my knowledge of the game with an emphasis on the fact that "I have obviously never stepped foot on a field"; I didn't confront you about the jab on my weight/size because the game was ongoing, but next time you won't be so lucky. Me on the field!

Fantastic performance from Racing Louisville FC, especially a dominant first half, to secure their first ever playoff appearance! Lynn Family Stadium needed this after last night's letdown!

Let's also give Bev Yanez and Racing Louisville FC some kudos for navigating this playoff push/season while missing a game changer in Sav (and worrying about her overall health), making a GK change, and relying on rookies to pull some huge minutes.
