Terrible news today on Instagram. There are plans to destroy Mai Po Nature Reserve to make way for expansion of Shenzen. Worst fears realised and it was the whole reason behind why I captured the photo “Border Refuge” ! Wildlife Photographer of the Year 😔 this scene could be consigned to this photograph
