Joe Warmington The Arts used to be supported by large corporate sponsors and didn't rely on Govt to operate. The Du Maurier Centre for the Arts, the Benson and Hedges Symphony of Lights etc. Then if you recall the chattering classes ran the Tobacco Cos. out of the sponsorship process.
