So very happy for Worcestershire, what an achievement winning the One Day Cup is. Means a lot to the squad and their fans. Incredibly happy for the club!

Weingen is definitely one of the best talents in Australia cricket right now. Incredible innings under lots of pressure when his side were behind the game. He’s going to go very far. What a top talent he is

Will Jacks named in the Ashes squad, and I’m not surprised by the decision. A player McCullum seems to love, fits the mould of the side well and has a fairly good record too. Harsh on Rehan not to make the squad but I think Jacks will do very well, if the chance comes!

Love the fast bowling unit England are taking to Australia. I think it’s spot on, a nice variety of people who have pure pace and will get movement off pitches in Australia that offered a lot last summer. So happy Potts has been included, it’s very well deserved!

Really happy this is the decision that the counties have come to. Certainly, for me, the right call. Also means that there’s clarification going into the final round of games for those fighting relegation in Div 1, and Leics and Glam also know they will be in Div 1 in 2026

Wow, what a piece of business this is from the Thunder! They’ve got a great core of overseas players, and an excellent spinner in Sangha to play alongside Ashwin! Excited to see those two in tandem. Their overseas recruitment over the last few seasons has been excellent!

Wow, a move out of the blue for the Sixers this. Richardson will add some much needed experience to their attack & of course is another seamer, which they do need. He’s only played 14 BBL games in the last 2 seasons but took 12 wickets. I like this move, hope he can stay fit!

Incredible achievement, a ridiculous performance from the Notts squad across the season. Congratulations to the club! Historic🫡

Got to highlight O’Neill’s performances for Notts at the start of the season again. He was sensational, the best bowler in the Championship for those first 4 games! Helped them get off to a strong start which was crucial to their title win. It was some stint, what a bowler🫡

WTC winning runs & County Championship winning runs within the space of a few months. Insane

Two excellent red ball batters. Rahul is easily one of the best in the world at the moment, so consistent with a near-perfect technique. Glad to see Sudharsan get runs in both innings of this game, he's surely locked in for that number 3 spot in the test side.

Great way to end the season! Really enjoyed Croftball during his interim spell, attacking & exciting cricket which produced some really good results! Regardless of who the head coach is in 2026, hopefully it’s a season of pushing for promotion & competing in white ball cricket!

So surprised Durham got relegated. Persoanlly thought they’d be able to challenge to the title, if not this season then next. Didn’t feel like they were too far off in terms of additions to their squad and they have the foundations of a great side.

Just a week’s break from domestic red ball cricket. The Sheffield Shield begins on the 4th October! Enjoyed the One Day Cup so far. with the white ball series in New Zealand starting, plus the A series in India, there’s lots to pique your interest in Australian cricket!

Can’t believe Zaib hasn’t made the Lions squad. Most red ball runs in the country, good left arm spinner and a ridiculous fielder. Generally speaking, I like the squad they’ve picked. Buzzing for Tribe, Kellaway & Stanley to name a few. But not selecting Zaib is a strange one.
