The C-PROOF fleet just doubled in size! Welcome to our five new Slocum G3 gliders, three of which have extended battery bays, and all of which use rechargeable lithium batteries! We are super excited to increase our sampling capability in BC coastal waters and the NE Pacific.

Our new gliders are all named after famous robots: Maria-997 Bumblebee-998 K-999 Hal-1002 Marvin-1003 (TeledyneMarine kept gliders number 1000 and 1001.) Our five new gliders join BB, Eva, Rosie, Wall-e, and Mike in our fleet of ten. That's a lot of gliders!
